| Toledo Refinery
The Toledo Refinery employs approximately 500 people and can process 170,000 barrels a day of crude oil into gasoline, diesel and jet fuels, propane, and residual fuels. The refinery also produces petrochemicals that are sold to chemical companies as feedstocks for the manufacture of plastics, styrofoam, detergents, nylon, and other products.
The Toledo Refinery was the first Sunoco refinery. Sunoco, as part of the Diamond Oil Company, purchased the refinery in 1894. |
