Third-party Assessments
The Transportation Safety Group continued to conduct assessments of third-party motor carriers, railcar cleaning and railcar repair facilities. These third-party service providers were assessed regarding their practices relative to sufficient HES capabilities and control systems. Service providers not meeting these standards are removed from the company’s approved vendor list.
