The Burlington Northern and Santa Fe Railway Company (BNSF) honored the Tulsa Refinery with the company’s Annual Product Stewardship Award. This award recognizes shippers for their safe transportation of hazardous materials by rail and their successful implementation of the ethics of Product Stewardship under the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care® Initiative. The award, presented in April of 2005, is based on the Tulsa Refinery’s 2004 performance of shipping 1,388 railcars with zero Non-Accidental Releases.
