Review of Refinery Process Streams
The Refinery Process Stream Review project completed the second year of its scheduled three-year term. Teams composed of process engineers, industrial hygienists and product safety representatives identified intermediate streams and validated their composition and physical properties.
A hazard determination was then completed for each stream and MSDSs updated, as appropriate. Once the project is completed, the composition and physical properties for almost 500 streams will have been validated.
