The Union Pacific Chemical safety Pinnacle Award was presented to Sunoco on April 19, 2005. The award is presented to companies making a minimum of 1,200 hazardous materials shipments with zero Non-Accidental Releases.
Most of the qualifying shipments were from Sunoco’s Haverhill Plant and Toledo Refinery and is based on 2004 performance. This is Sunoco’s eighth Pinnacle Award in the past nine years.
