| Our Commitment Sunoco's Supplier Relations Policy establishes standards for the selection of cargo vessels, product carriers, waste handling and disposal facilities, contractors for major maintenance work, spill management contractors, remediation contractors, and engineering contractors performing emission reduction control projects. Among these standards are criteria that ensure these suppliers meet or exceed Sunoco's HES performance expectations. Sunoco also includes a clause in contracts with major suppliers of on-site environmental services requiring the contractor to: "Continuously seek and implement measures to reduce the environmental impact, reduce the energy consumption, and improve the efficiency of its operation on a year over year basis." |
