Industrial Hygiene at Sunoco
Sunoco’s Industrial Hygienists and Health & Safety professionals work together with Operations and Maintenance personnel to provide a safe work place for employees. One activity is by conducting workplace industrial hygiene exposure qualitative and quantitative monitoring to determine and confirm that chemicals are handled properly and meet various chemical-specific OSHA regulations and Sunoco Exposure Limits. In 2008, Sunoco professionals collected 2,874 personal samples for 76 different chemicals/physical agents. Furthermore, 161 personal noise exposure samples were performed. |
