Carrier of the Year (COTY) Award Winners Sunoco's Carrier of the Year (COTY) program is a tool utilized by Sunoco's Transportation Department to monitor our motor carriers' overall performance and improvement. Metrics such as On-Time Delivery, On-Time Loading, Safety Incidents, Customer Complaints, etc. are some of the major categories that the program monitors. As a result of safety being a vital part of Sunoco's corporate goals, this category is weighed more heavily than others.
Three awards are given each year – Platinum, Gold and Silver – based on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd highest scores among all facilities.
