Bayport Plant

Sunoco purchased the Bayport, Texas polypropylene facility in the spring of 2003 from Equistar Chemicals. The Bayport plant has an annual capacity of 400 million pounds. This acquisition complemented and enhanced Sunoco’s polypropylene position, making us the third largest producer in North America.
